A Health Care To-Do List for Congress

To help Congress stay focused on putting the patient first as they address health care reform, the American Heart Association has created a health care to-do list of eight common-sense reforms that would bring adequate, affordable health care to heart disease and stroke patients, and those at risk.

We need a Health care interstate compact that creates a common framework between states but leaves health care as a function of the States and the People as set forth in the U.S. Constitution.

Item to do 2 is flawed. Some health status is caused by personal wellness behavior choice or lack thereof. Prohibit variations on things that the individual cannot control like gender race genetics and age. Personal wellness care must be linked with premium discounts.
